Job Title: Assistant Kitchen Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Kitchen Manager to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will assist in managing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Kitchen Manager in overseeing daily kitchen operations
• Ensure food quality and presentation meet established standards
• Help manage inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies
• Train and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas
• Monitor food safety and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations
• Assist in menu planning and development of new recipes
• Support cost control measures to minimize waste and maximize efficiency

Skills And Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
