Job Overview
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this position is responsible for all sales activities, from growing current business to targeting and securing new business and driving new sales growth within an assigned territory. Works within the Sales Operations team for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals aligned with company vision and values.
Essential Functions
- Increase company revenue from current client accounts and proactively develop new accounts
- Drive the sales process by scheduling appointments, making sales presentations, and implementing accounts
- Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers in person and remotely to increase sales
- Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects and clients of the Ethos product offerings
- Develop relationships with key accounts to expand market share through medically necessary testing and client retention through education on the role of laboratory testing in clinical practice
- Manage new client onboarding, including onboarding, ordering supplies and providing training to client personnel
- Follow up on marketing activity leads to generate further customer interest and acquire new accounts
- Ensure client satisfaction is met and maintained
- Answer any questions from clients and prospects in a timely manner
- Resolve barriers and build commitment from physicians, other prescribers, and treatment facility staff
- Develop and increase sales revenue to meet and exceed assigned targets
- Provide accurate weekly forecasts and updates of sales progress towards goals
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of sales pipeline and updates
- Some involvement in special projects
- Acts as the regional field trainer and/or mentor
- Other duties as assigned
Professional Requirements
- Demonstrated track record of successful customer relationship-building experience
- Must understand the key market drivers and dynamics of the U.S. healthcare market
- Promote brand awareness, campaigns, and lead through networking

- Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all team members and support departments.
- Ability to travel 75% of the time including overnight stays
Education And Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 4 years of prior sales experience or completion of Advanced Selling or equivalent
- 2 to 5 years of prior laboratory sales experience
- Minimum 1 year of President’s Club achievement or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license as well as reliable transportation
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including making impactful presentations
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
- Effective time-management skills
Physical Requirements
- Position requires sitting, walking, reaching, bending, stooping, and handling objects with hands and/or fingers, talking and/or hearing, and seeing.
- Position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
