Role Overview
We seek a Director of Growth Marketing who can architect, implement and scale Evergreen’s acquisition and retention efforts, alongside our Director of Organic Marketing. Combining strategy and execution, this role has responsibility for all paid media channels, including search, social, email, programmatic, affiliate, video, emerging and offline initiatives, as well as all lifecycle and retention programs. You will balance immediate acquisition goals with longer-term brand development, leveraging AI tools, data and experimentation to propel us to the forefront of marketing innovation in one-to-one targeting and personalization.
Key Responsibilities
- Paid Media. Design, test and execute acquisition programs across all viable channels for upscale acquisition.
- Search. Optimize keywords, bidding, clickthrough, conversion and demographics
- Social. Enhance platform signals to pinpoint target customers; LinkedIn targeting
- Email. Hyper-targeted, hyper-personalized outbound email; email newsletters
- Programmatic. Demographically-targeted display; performance now, brand later
- Affiliate. Financial advisor lead gen; redesign lead-to-sales funnel
- Video. Youtube advertising; potentially CTV or DV360 later
- Offline. One-to-one direct mail using demographic and life event targeting
- Lifecycle. Build and test outbound communications to existing and former clients, although these efforts are secondary until we build the initial client base.
- Nurturance. Collaborate with sales and reinforce the personal selling
- Usage. Stimulate usage of our app and personal and AI-based advice
- Upsell. Maximize additional deposits over the life of the customer
- Referral. Incented referral programs for new clients
- Reactivation. Event-based and drip campaigns to lapsed clients and prospects
- Retention. Maintain and improve retention rates of current clients
- Analytics. Quantitative skills, platform familiarity, attribution and a strong commitment to experimentation across multiple dimensions: channel, audience, offer and creative.
- Creative. Management of inhouse, freelance and agency resources to produce a high level of creative development.
- Collaboration. Work productively across the organization, predominantly with sales, advisory and product management.
- AI Adoption: Identify and deploy generative AI and machine learning tools to boost media and creative growth.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in performance and growth marketing with deep hands-on experience in multiple areas of acquisition and lifecycle marketing.
- Understanding of marketing high-end products to upscale audiences
- Advanced skills with analytics platforms, Excel and other quantitative tools
- Track record of driving measurable growth through data-led decision making and rigorous experimentation.
- Experience in the investment or financial arena is a plus.
