Who We Are
HelloHero is a family-centric community mental & behavioral health care organization serving children and families. We provide integrated, multidisciplinary care—including comprehensive therapy and medication management—through individualized, group, and crisis interventions. We partner with school districts to deliver on-campus care for children and provide services for families virtually or in-person through our community partners.
Since its inception in 2017, HelloHero has served over 15,000 children and adults across 30 states. We provide in-person and virtual care for students and families, addressing needs from acute crises to long-term challenges.

Position Summary
The Recruiter will play a key role in driving HelloHero’s growth by identifying, attracting, and hiring top mental health professionals to serve children, families, and schools. This position requires a proactive and creative approach to recruiting, with a focus on reaching candidates through both traditional and non-traditional channels.
The Recruiter will leverage social media platforms, community engagement, and innovative sourcing strategies to connect with qualified clinicians and support staff. Most importantly, this individual will be able to sell HelloHero’s value proposition—articulating why clinicians should choose to join our mission-driven community over other opportunities. With a strong understanding of the behavioral and mental health landscape, this person will ensure HelloHero continues to attract mission-aligned professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive high-volume recruitment of clinicians and staff to meet urgent organizational needs.
- Proactively source candidates through non-traditional channels such as social media, community organizations, universities, and local events.
- Build and maintain a sustainable pipeline of licensed mental health professionals (LCSWs, LSWMs, NPs–Psych).
- Effectively communicate HelloHero’s mission, culture, and value proposition to candidates, converting interest into hires.
- Move quickly and strategically to fill roles, balancing speed with quality of hire.
- Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and align recruiting strategies with organizational growth.
- Track recruiting metrics and adapt strategies to ensure goals are consistently met or exceeded.
Experience Required
- 3–5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare, mental health, or related fields.
- Proven success sourcing and hiring licensed clinicians in hard-to-recruit specialties and geographies.
- Hands-on experience leveraging social media, grassroots outreach, and digital platforms for recruitment.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with shifting priorities.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and persuade candidates.
- Strong organizational skills; able to juggle multiple requisitions and deadlines.
- Mission-driven mindset with a passion for expanding access to mental and behavioral health care.
