We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic Creative Design Assistant to join the L@B, GSG’s in-house creative and media agency. The L@B delivers creative direction, full- service video & content production, plus a full suite of powerful digital media capabilities to our Fortune 500, public affairs and advocacy clients. Our team creates content that captures attention across audiences, engages beyond the first glance and inspires action and drives real change. This is a new role that will report directly to our VP, Creative Director and is expected to support the team through early 2026.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine visual materials for clients, including reports, one-pagers, social and digital advertising, print ads, video ads, and branded content.
- Design custom assets using stock and original elements to create engaging, polished compositions that support strategic communication goals.
- Create compelling visual narratives through PowerPoint presentations, video treatments and storyboards, and multimedia content across formats and platforms.
- Support creative ideation for campaigns, messaging, and branding efforts—including the development of taglines, copy lines, and thematic visuals, animations, and video assets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all designs align with GSG’s brand standards and the client’s voice, tone, and communication objectives.
- Contribute to new business efforts by designing visual assets, mockups, and pitch decks that clearly articulate strategic thinking and creative vision.
- Prepare files for digital and print production, ensuring technical specifications are met and output is optimized for publishers, printers, and online channels.
- Maintain version control, manage asset libraries, and ensure accuracy across file formats and deliverables.
- Apply a strong sense of typography, imagery, and layout to all communications, delivering clean, impactful visuals that elevate client messaging.
- Manage multiple design tasks and timelines simultaneously, maintaining a high standard of organization, communication, and follow-through.
- Support team operations by maintaining design templates, managing revisions, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to stay organized and meet deadlines.
- Work closely with account teams, senior creatives, and clients to incorporate feedback and evolve design direction.
- Assist in guiding interns and coordinating with vendors or freelancers when needed, ensuring alignment with team and project goals and creative expectations.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of professional experience in graphic design, visual communications, or a related creative field (agency or in-house preferred).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop),as well as PowerPoint and/or Google Slides. Experience with Premiere Pro and AI Image Generation a plus.
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and branding.
- Experience designing for both digital and print formats, with a working knowledge of production and file export requirements.
- Ability to distill complex information into simple, effective visual communications.
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
