We’re looking for someone like you to propel business analytics and processes forward, as well as delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences.  

As an IT business analyst, you’ll develop leading-edge solutions for a financial management system and its supporting applications . Partnering with your team of developers, business analysts, quality analysts, and DevSecOps engineers, you’ll identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You’ll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you’ll lead your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you’ll deliver high business value products to your clients and end users. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience working with U.S. government agencies, including on federal financial management systems
  • Experience gathering requirements, providing process improvements, building reports, documenting business and functional requirements, and managing key initiatives
  • Experience with Oracle EBS and financial processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivable, and Reporting
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams to support system upgrades, enhancements, and production issue resolution
  • Knowledge of IT project management, SDLC, risk management and compliance, and agile methodologies
  • Ability to translate finance or business requirements into clear, actionable technical requirements
  • Ability to write SQL queries for validation and troubleshooting
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree

  

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with Centralized Services such as Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) and G-Invoicing
  • Experience with business intelligence or reporting tools, such as Oracle Analytics
  • Experience with invoice processing software, such as Tungsten Automation MarkView and Capture
  • Experience with identifying and recommending process improvements and automation opportunities
  • Ability to apply project management best practices to lead priority initiatives from inception to delivery
  • Ability to lead workshops, JAD sessions, or design sprints to drive consensus
  • Ability to mentor junior analysts or support knowledge transfer

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
