The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Oklahoma City (OKC) is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager to specify, integrate, test, and certify leading edge solutions to directly support the warfighter in Oklahoma City, OKC. Boeing OKC is experiencing significant growth across all of its supported platforms due to the award of multiple new contracts.
Boeing OKC supports the following platforms: Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) for US, Saudi and NATO, Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEWC) for Australia, Turkey, United Kingdom, and Korea, B-1 Strike Bomber, B-2 Stealth Bomber, B-52 Heavy Bomber, and the ALCM weapon. These platforms continue to be updated to keep them relevant and supportive of emerging military systems. Upgrades include state-of-the-art radar systems, hypersonic weapons systems, and cutting-edge digital communication infrastructure.
Candidates selected for this position will work in the Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) and Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) Group supporting various international airborne command and control platforms. They will manage a team of engineers which will provide systems analysis, test, and integration that allows the airborne battle managers to command and control a theater of responsibility on our aircraft. This includes manpower planning, cost account management, supplier management, requirements management, and verification of our products. The candidate will work with the team to status and update plans of action to help push along the integration of the platform. Work also includes working with aircraft and laboratory integration to help the technical team resolve and fix complex issues.

Position Responsibilities:
- Servant leader working with engineers to work through issues and integrate the testing of the Mission system.
- Manages, develops, and motivates employees.
- Provides technical leadership of laboratory and aircraft integration.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets group goals.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires up to 50% travel to international locations.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science from an accredited course of study, in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- 5 or more years of experience in an engineering related role.
- 5 or more years of experience leading teams.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience integrating hardware and software equipment in a laboratory and aircraft environment.
- Experience working with suppliers and supply chain management.
- Cost Account Manager experience.
- Proposal development experience.
- Excellent communications skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of management, customers, and partners.
- Master of Science in an engineering discipline.
- Previous management experience.
- Ability to build a safe environment of inclusion, transparency, and trust.
- Leadership skills to lead and influence positive outcomes.
