Porter - Luxury Lease Up

We have an opening for a Porter at our brand-new lease-up in San Diego – AMLI Aero!

This position is responsible for keeping our community clean and welcoming by maintaining common areas, amenities, and grounds. You’ll play a key role in creating a first-class resident experience at our newest luxury property in Kearny Mesa.

Duties Include:

• Clean and maintain leasing office, restrooms, hallways, stairways, elevators, amenities, laundry rooms, parking garage, and other common areas.
• Perform daily trash removal and recycling.
• Assist with preparing vacant and model apartments for move-ins and tours.
• Wash interior/exterior windows, maintain light fixtures, and keep the community fresh and presentable.
• Care for, inventory, and properly use all janitorial supplies and equipment.
• Provide basic grounds care such as sweeping, picking up trash, and watering planters.
• Assist with move-out cleanings, moving bulky items, and property inspections.
• Support the team during emergencies (flood, fire, weather-related events) and occasional overtime needs.

Requirements:

• Prior custodial, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment (mops, vacuums, carpet cleaners, scrubbers, etc.).
• Ability to push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally more).
• Ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions.
• Must be a team player with a professional, positive attitude.
