The IT Business Analyst will work with cross functional team to develop to develop new software components which improve our applications and technologies to better serve our customers. The role work with business and technology partners to understand our business, gather requirements, and translate them into agile stories. There will be opportunities to work on the development on new API’s improving KeyBank’s channels integration with our core deposit account system. In addition, there will be opportunities to work on both customer communications, statements, notices, and client letters.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Lead requirement gathering conversations and research in to capture customer requirements
Capture requirements, acceptance criteria in agile stories
Collaborate with developers to facilitate their understanding
Support a Scrum Master and team in agile practices
Support line of business team members in the pre and postproduction validation of changes
Problem solve with internal teams and vendors to understand potential production issues
With the team, support release management, fully documenting release scope and progress
Understand and adhere to security and risk management principles – escalating to appropriate team(s) as needed
Develop documentation assets for the team and for the team’s customers

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES:

Experience in banking and finance industries, experience with deposit systems or transaction processing a plus

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $71,000 to $122,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
