The Opportunity ✨

The Regulatory Compliance team, sitting in the Legal Operations and Compliance Team, is responsible for IAG Loyalty’s various businesses compliance with applicable external and internal regulations and ongoing compliance.

Reporting to the Regulatory Compliance Lead, you will play a crucial role in integrating compliance procedures at all levels of the organisation, including IAG Loyalty and British Airways Holidays. You will support the growth of the business by ensuring that the regulatory compliance program is delivered across British Airways Holidays, working closely with the Head of Commercial. You will interact with a wide range of stakeholders across the various business.

The position comprises of strong compliance knowledge, analytical and out of the box thinking, as well as communication skills to act as a point of contact with the business on regulatory compliance matters.

What You Will Be Doing:

We are looking for a Compliance Analyst to support the Compliance team in helping IAG Loyalty and British Airways Holidays meet internal policies and external regulatory requirements. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a range of compliance areas in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme Support: Assist with maintaining compliance documents such as policies, procedures, and internal guidelines, working closely with the Regulatory Compliance Lead and other team members.
  • Training & Awareness: Help with the coordination and delivery of compliance training sessions and awareness campaigns to support a strong compliance culture across the business.
  • Process Reviews: Provide support in reviewing business processes and controls to check they align with relevant regulatory standards.
  • Team Support: Support the Compliance team by gathering information and preparing documents to support advice on compliance matters across new projects, ongoing operations, and business developments.
  • Regulatory Research: Support the team by researching key regulations (e.g., FCA, ATOL, CAP/ASA, consumer laws) and helping with assessments and summaries as needed.
  • Third-Party Support: Assist with documentation and checks when the business is working with external partners, including helping with due diligence and contract reviews alongside the Legal and Security teams.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Help track compliance risks and actions, assist with logging any issues or breaches, and support the preparation of compliance reports.

What We Are Looking For:

  • We need people with 2 – 4 years regulatory and compliance understanding and experience - ideally from within one of the financial services, loyalty or travel sectors (though we would still love to hear from you if your experience comes from another industry).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and a demonstrable record of successfully influencing without direct control will be key to the success of this individual.
  • Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, along with the stakeholder management skills.
  • Capable of balancing priorities and coordinating work effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Thrive on ownership and accountability, driving initiatives forward to a successful conclusion.
