Salary $120,100 - $140,000 depending on experience

Remote Position: available for candidates residing in *PA, DE, FL, LA, MD, NJ, OH, TX, and VA

Up to 25% travel to our headquarters in Lafayette Hill, PA expected.

Position Details:

The Director of Digital Transformation and User Adoption is a leadership role within the IT department, specifically under the Enterprise Applications team. This position is responsible for strategizing, implementing, and overseeing digital transformation initiatives to ensure effective use and adoption of enterprise applications across the organization. Reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Applications, this role is critical for fostering a culture of digital innovation, enhancing process efficiencies, and optimizing user engagement with technology. The Director will lead a team focused on change management, user training, and process improvement, driving initiatives that enable employees to fully leverage digital tools and maximize organizational productivity. This role is integral to advancing the organization’s digital maturity and aligning technology solutions with strategic business objectives. Duties include:

Digital Transformation Strategy and Execution

  • Develop a Strategic Digital Transformation Roadmap
    Establish a clear roadmap that aligns IT and business goals, prioritizing digital initiatives that support productivity, streamline processes, and enhance user experiences.

  • Align Digital Initiatives with Business Objectives
    Collaborate with IT leaders and business stakeholders to ensure digital strategies meet current and future needs. Adapt the roadmap as needed to remain relevant and effective.

User Adoption and Change Management

  • Design and Implement User Adoption Programs
    Create structured programs and communication strategies to drive high adoption rates for enterprise applications. Tailor initiatives for various user groups to enhance engagement and ease of use.

  • Lead Change Management Initiatives
    Oversee change management efforts, including stakeholder engagement, targeted communications, and feedback mechanisms to ensure smooth transitions during technology rollouts.

  • Develop Training and Enablement Resources
    Provide comprehensive training materials, workshops, and resources to educate users and ensure understanding of benefits and best practices.

Process Optimization and Operational Efficiency

  • Assess and Streamline Business Processes
    Conduct regular reviews to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and standardization within enterprise applications.

  • Apply Process Improvement Methodologies
    Leverage frameworks such as Lean and Six Sigma to streamline workflows, eliminate redundancies, and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Customize User Experience
    Work with application administrators and developers to optimize workflows and interfaces, ensuring an intuitive and user-friendly experience.

Data-Driven Decision Making and Performance Analysis

  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
    Define, track, and report KPIs to measure the success of digital adoption and transformation efforts—such as engagement rates, application usage, and time savings.

  • Leverage Analytics for Insights
    Use data analytics tools to gain insights into user behavior and application performance, making informed recommendations and refining digital strategies.

Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Foster Cross-Departmental Collaboration
    Partner with IT teams (e.g., Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Development) and business units to ensure secure, cohesive, and efficient integration of digital tools.

  • Build Strong Vendor Relationships
    Manage relationships with digital adoption vendors and consultants to ensure alignment with organizational needs and maximize value from external resources.

Qualifications

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in digital adoption, project management (e.g., PMP), change management (e.g., Prosci), and process improvement (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) are highly desirable.

Experience:

  • 4-5 years in digital transformation, user adoption, or enterprise application management, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role within IT.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale digital transformation projects and user adoption initiatives in a complex, enterprise-level environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency with enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other SaaS platforms) and digital adoption tools.
  • Solid understanding of data analytics, KPI monitoring, and reporting tools to track user engagement and measure digital adoption success.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies, such as Lean and Six Sigma, and change management frameworks.

Leadership and Collaboration Abilities:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in stakeholder engagement, change management, and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities, influence decision-makers, and drive transformation initiatives aligned with business objectives.
