QA Manager

Description

We are seeking a Quality & Food Safety Manager to join our team and take a leading role in ensuring product excellence, consumer safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Food Safety (HACCP) processes: chair HACCP team, implement consumer safety changes, deliver trainings, and drive investigations.
• Manage internal & external audits: prepare the site for regulatory and customer inspections, coordinate cross-functional teams, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Oversee production quality controls: conduct shop-floor audits, in-process checks, and operator training.
• Handle customer complaints: investigate, analyze trends, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Manage raw materials & finished goods: approval and release from quarantine, supplier verification, and supplier audits.
• Drive quality projects & equipment validations in collaboration with production teams.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives while meeting quality KPIs.
• Facilitate management reviews and quality meetings.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or Industrial Engineering/Management.
• Advantage: B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or Industrial Engineering/Management.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the industry, preferably in the food sector.
• Professional Background: Proven experience in managing quality processes in food manufacturing plants – a strong advantage.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ensuring compliance with procedures and standards.
• Ability to analyze processes and implement improvements to reduce quality risks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (Priority – an advantage).
