IT/OT Support Specialist (Onsite, Ljubljana, Slovenian/English)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT/OT Support Specialist to join our team onsite in Ljubljana, Slovenia. In this role, you will provide hands-on support for IT and OT systems within a regulated production environment. You will act as a key link between operational technology and enterprise IT, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with industry standards.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Onsite IT/OT support including break/fix for thin clients, IPCs, handhelds, and lab equipment
• Local hands-and-feet support for global IT teams
• Troubleshooting automation and production systems (PLC, SCADA, OT networks)
• Support for software upgrades, patching, and backups in lab/OT environments
• Incident, problem, and change management (ITIL-based)
• Compliance with CSV, GxP, and data integrity procedures
• Participation in disaster recovery and business continuity planning

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of IT/OT support experience in regulated environments
• Experience with industrial IT systems, SCADA/PLC, and lab software
• Networking knowledge (VLAN, Firewall, Routing)
• ITIL process knowledge; ServiceNow/Remedy ticketing tools
• Fluency in Slovenian and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
• Availability for onsite support and 24/7 on-call rotation
• Candidate must declare Criminal Record no older than 3 months
