We are looking for a dynamic IT Business Analyst to join our team at Hayleys PLC. The role will involve supporting large-scale digitalisation initiatives through structured research, stakeholder engagement, and solution design. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring that business needs are translated into effective technology solutions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with experience in digital transformation, strategy development, and technology delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements in alignment with organizational goals.
Conduct research and diagnostics to understand business challenges, user needs, and process pain points.
Identify opportunities for digitisation and process improvements across business functions.
Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, workflows, and user stories.
Facilitate stakeholder consultations, workshops, interviews, and process-mapping sessions.
Perform gap analysis and recommend improvements to processes, systems, or services.
Support the design and delivery of digital strategies and transformation roadmaps.
Liaise between business units, developers, QA teams, and vendors to ensure requirements are met.
Assist with Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
Support test case development, UAT coordination, and issue resolution.
Prepare briefs, reports, and visual documentation to communicate findings and recommendations.
Provide post-implementation support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Management, Economics, or a related discipline from a recognized university (local or international).
Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA will be an added advantage.
3+ years of experience in business analysis, strategy, consulting, digital transformation, or program delivery.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum or hybrid project delivery environments.
Exposure to both local and international projects is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Skilled in preparing BRDs, FRDs, use cases, workflows, and process maps.
Familiarity with BA tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, or Lucidchart.
Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Basic SQL and data analysis knowledge preferred.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and negotiate requirements effectively.
Strategic thinking with a solution-driven approach.

Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
