Accountant (Treasury and PtP)

POSITION SUMMARY  

Join the Finance Department

As an Accountant (Treasury and PtP), you will take ownership of Vendor analytics, Internal training in the PtP process, Cash pool management and F/X management across all Steen & Strøm entities, ensuring effective PtP process, valuable Vendor analytics, cash pool reconciliations, and accurate F/X management. You will be the primary accounting point of contact for the Treasury department, a key member of the Accounting Team and exposed to the entire organization ensuring compliance to the PtP process.

Responsibilities

Your perimeter of responsibilities will include: 

Main Tasks:

• Responsible for Vendor analytics
• Support Vendor Management across all entities
• Process owner for the PtP process
• Follow up on non-compliance (i.e. missing PO’s, late PO’s)
• Cash Pool management across all entities
• Support and guide the accounting team and the overall organization in establishing streamlined and effective accounting, use of PtP processes
• F/X management and reconciliations
• In charge of all FX related topics within loan, loan agreements
• Handling the accounting impact of SWAPS 

Day-To-Day Work:

• Collaborate closely with the entire organization ensuring optimized PtP processes
• Analyze spend per category and drive better deals with Vendors
• Handle derivatives, ensuring accurate presentation and accounting
• Manage Cash Pool and reconciliations
• Collaborate closely with the accounting team, especially during quarterly and year-end closings
• Manage all FX-related topics within loan agreements and reporting
• Ensure compliance with internal and external financial requirements

Who Are We Looking For

You have a higher degree (Bachelor or Master) within finance or accounting, with practical experience in finance departments, preferably within real estate or asset-driven industries.

You are recognized for your structured mindset, reliability, and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex processes across multiple entities and jurisdictions. You are a proactive problem-solver, able to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

In Particular:

• Solid experience within accounting
• Good knowledge of cash pool management
• Strong understanding of PtP processes
• Highly proficient in Excel, SAP, and other accounting tools
• Fluent in Danish, Swedish or Norwegian
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Accurate, well-organized, and team-oriented
• Service-minded and proactive in managing cross-functional processes
