Job Overview:
We’re seeking a talented E-commerce Assistant to transform and enhance our Shopify wholesale platform. This role offers the exciting opportunity to work with unique, artisanal products while developing your e-commerce and design skills. You’ll create compelling product stories, manage large inventories, and implement creative ideas that directly impact sales growth.


Responsibilities:
  • Upload and expertly categorize approximately 1,000+ stunning rug photos per shipment
  • Create engaging product stories with detailed descriptions including cultural origins, regional information, and traditional techniques
  • Develop professional downloadable brochures and marketing materials for retailers to share with their customers
  • Implement monthly website improvements and exciting new feature requests to enhance user experience
  • Manage comprehensive Shopify wholesale platform including product listings, categorization, and inventory organization
  • Collaborate on innovative ideas to boost sales and create compelling customer experiences


Requirements

  • Extensive Shopify experience with proven proficiency in platform management
  • Strong design skills for creating professional marketing materials and brochures
  • Demonstrated e-commerce platform management experience with large product catalogs
  • Ability to work independently and reliably with consistent communication
  • Excellent written communication skills for discussing creative ideas and implementations
  • Experience with wholesale or B2B e-commerce platforms preferred
  • Reliable internet connection and professional design software access
