The Head of Retail Analytics role is a part of the business function and is responsible for creating & sustaining a world-class advanced analytics team in Pakistan to drive growth & efficiency within the retail & SME customers of Mashreq Bank Pakistan. The role is expected to work closely with business heads, product heads & enabling functions to effectively drive data strategy, business insights & application of advanced analytics use cases for improving customer experience & maximizing profit.
Setting-up the Retail Analytics team in Pakistan in terms of people, process & platforms to support the retail individual as well as SME customers
•
Advising the data strategy for the retail bank both in terms of internal as well as external data to maximize value for Mashreq Bank Pakistan
•
Ensuring design & delivery of key KPIs required for executive, business, products, digital teams, frontline & operational reviews of the PK Retail Bank at country & group level
•
Identifying, prioritizing, designing & delivery of advanced analytics uses cases to drive business growth as well as cost optimization across all verticals within the Retail Bank
•
Partner with stake holders to operationalize effective customer contact management framework
•
Implement latest technologies in ML, AI and robotics for continuous digitization of all data interactions
•
Work closely with data engineering teams to build consumption & business utilization architectures for thirds party, partners and journey generated data
•
Work closely with chapters and tribes to digitize data reporting, forecasting and planning across a fully digital organization.
Classification: Internal Use
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics / Statistics, Business Administration or a related field
•
A minimum of 12 years of experience in data & analytics in retail banking or related industries, with at least 7 years in a managerial role
•
Prior hands-on experience in all 4 steams of analytics, i.e., Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive & Prescriptive is a must for this role
•
Strong data engineering skills in traditional as well as modern ETL tools with exposure to big data environment is a must for this role
•
Hands on experience of AI / ML model (regression, decision tree, neural-net, segmentation etc.,) development, validation & deployment is a must for this role
•
Deep understanding of digital data, digital MI (management information) & digital analytics is preferred for this role
•
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate analytics resources is preferred for this role
•
Sound understanding of customer experience (CX) & implications of data & analytics in a retail business for CX is preferred for this role
•
Prior experience in risk analytics in retail or SME banking analytics is preferred for this role
