Associate, Capital Markets

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position reports to an Associate Manager within the Capital Markets group and is responsible for supporting multiple departments with data, analytics, and reporting needs. The role will include maintaining and enhancing datasets, developing dashboards, performing price audits, and providing analytical support to Capital Markets and other business areas. The position requires strong skills in data analysis, reporting tools (including Power BI), and programming. Experience in the US mortgage industry is preferred.

JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain, enhance, and validate datasets used across Capital Markets and other departments
• Create and update Power BI dashboards and reports to support decision-making
• Perform price audits and investigate discrepancies
• Monitor and improve daily data pipelines to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Write, optimize and maintain Python scripts
• Develop and maintain analytics to monitor market activity, loan performance, and operational metrics
• Work with business partners across departments to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions
• Support the automation of recurring reports and analytics processes
• Conduct root cause analysis on data or reporting issues and implement solutions

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, capital markets, or related field
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Advanced Python programming skills required.
• Strong experience with SQL and working with large datasets.
• Experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Superior communication and teamwork skills, with ability to support multiple stakeholders
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Mortgage industry experience preferred

 WORK SCHEDULE OR TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Work hours will be 3 AM EST to 12 PM EST.
