Senior Software Engineer, App Hub

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 5 years of experience building and developing wide-reaching infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks.
• Experience in the field of computer science, with experience in data structures, algorithms and software design.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  
• 5 years of experience in data structures/algorithms.
• Experience with Large-Scale Distributed Systems.

Our ambitious goal for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and App Hub is to provide customers with an application-centric view of their GCP Infrastructure. App Hub aims to optimise the productivity of GCP application developers, application operators, and platform operators by streamlining application development, deployments, and DevOps, while abstracting cloud infrastructure primitives. Our team is responsible for the entire App Hub surface, ensuring a smooth, unified experience for app-centric manageability, observability, SDLC, and governance. This includes UI and API interfaces with application-centric views, policy management, governance and other evolving areas.
