As we move into a new phase of pan-European growth, we’re looking for an HR Director who isn’t here to run a people department — but to build a smarter, leaner, more agile organization from the inside out.
This role reports to the CEO of LHV Pank and carries a double-hat responsibility across LHV Group. It’s a seat at the top table, but only for someone who understands that people strategy is business strategy — especially when growth is powered by automation, speed, and relentless execution.
Please note this role is based in Tallinn and you must be a fluent speaker of Estonian.

What you’ll do:
- Lead a lean, high-impact HR function that’s built for speed and scale — not for headcount or hierarchy.
- Partner with LHV’s CEO and Group leadership to build the operating model for European expansion — focused on tech-first, product-led teams.
- Shape and own performance frameworks, leadership standards, and organizational architecture for a low-friction, high-output environment.
- Rethink talent acquisition, development, and retention for a business that hires selectively and invests where it matters most.
- Push for simplicity, cut bureaucracy, and constantly question whether our ways of working still serve our goals.
