About the RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated Software Development Engineer I (SDE I) to join our team at Skypoint. This role is a Night shift, which offers an exciting opportunity to work on real-world projects in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the design, development, and scaling of software solutions. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of strong professional experience in Python and JavaScript, along with a solid understanding of software engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Python and JavaScript.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Debug, test, and optimize software components for performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.
• Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and emerging technologies.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional experience in software development with Python and JavaScript (strong hands-on expertise required).
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, OOP, and database concepts.
• Experience with frameworks and libraries such as Flask/Django/FastAPI (Python) and Node.js/React/Angular/Vue.js (JavaScript).
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Git/GitHub, and modern development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Willingness to work in night shift from 9 pm to 6 am IST.
