Process Development Engineer 
 
The Opportunity 

 
We are looking for an experienced Materials or Metallurgical Engineer to strengthen our production engineering team in Ludvika! 
 
In this role, you will work with advanced processes such as powder mixing, pressing, and sintering – with a strong focus on developing and improving our arrester products. 

We are currently at the starting point of an exciting transformation, aiming to modernize and streamline our machinery and production processes. You will be part of this journey toward a more efficient and future-ready operation.

How you’ll make an impact  
 

• Develop and optimize processes for powder mixing, pressing, sintering, and subsequent production steps. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality and efficiency in production. 

• Implement innovative solutions to enhance product performance and sustainability. 

• Participate in research and development projects to drive technological advancements in the field. 

• Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce environmental impact. 

• Support and contribute to investments in new technologies and production equipment. 

 

Your Background 

• Master’s degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, or a related engineering field. 

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with powder metallurgy and sintering processes. 

• Strong problem-solving skills and experience leading technical projects. 

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
