The Proposal Coordinator is playing a key role in managing and supporting the proposal process, from initial customer requests to final submissions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively across teams.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage responses to customer Requests for Information (RFIs) in a prompt and accurate manners, and in alignment with company standards.
- Screen incoming Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to assess feasibility and alignment with business priorities.
- Support Proposal Managers in preparing, coordinating, and submitting proposals, including the creation of High-Level Estimates (HLEs).
- Assist in logging and reviewing proposal-related data in Salesforce, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and data integrity.
- Develop, update, and maintain an internal knowledge repository, ensuring key resources (e.g., company handbooks, process guidelines) are accurate and easily accessible.
- Facilitate the integration of technical knowledge from AGC’s partners into proposal documents.
- Ensure all partner-provided technical content is implemented seamlessly and accurately.
- Coordinate the global Project Change Order (PCO) processes and oversee the related activities, including training, template usage, and harmonization of practices across sites.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Biotech, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
- Project management capabilities to drive proposals processes in cross functional teams with the understanding of internal/external customer’s needs and priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in proposal management.
- Basic understanding of the biotechnology industry, drug development and scientific terminology.
Preferred:
- Experience with Salesforce CRM is preferred.
- Having 0-2 years’ relevant work experience from a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) is a plus but not mandatory.
