Join Our Team: Customer Service - Bookings Coordinator – Shipping & Logistics

Reports to: Customer Service Supervisor

Nautical Shipping, a proud member of the Leeward Group, is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service - Bookings Coordinator to join our Brisbane team. What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage bookings inboxes and accept customer bookings within agreed response times.

• Liaise directly with customers to resolve queries and provide updates.

• Accurately enter bookings into CargoWise One (CW1) and maintain ICD destination records.

• Monitor vessel schedules and communicate changes to customers (ETA/ETD updates, vessel delay notices).

• Prepare and distribute shipping documentation and booking reports.

• Oversee equipment management, including DG, awkward cargo, and special equipment applications.

• Add and manage incidental and terminal charges, ensuring accurate invoicing.

• Investigate container damage claims and escalate where required.

• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure smooth workflows.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role within shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics.

• Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills (written and verbal).

• Proficiency in CargoWise One and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to prioritise tasks, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.

• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
