Summary/Position Objective

Responsible for maximizing Oncology sales capabilities to achieve sales objectives while delivering on Regeneron’s promise to put patients first. Demonstrates superior business acumen, effective management of resources and ability to achieve corporate goals and sales objectives. Thinks strategically and manages time effectively to deliver value and solutions to our customers.

Job Duties

  • •    Therapeutic area: Oncology
  • •    Maximize Oncology sales capabilities and Achieve brand sales objectives through sales strategy planning and training.
  • •    Lead annual sales territory business planning process based on market insights and incorporate marketing brand plans to ensure consistency.
  • •    Coach other sales specialists, share best practices and support sales team in execution against goals and objectives through a training session and a field-ride.
  • •    Utilize key data sources to strategically develop sales action plan with Country Sales Director.
  • •    Work collaboratively with all key interfaces and stakeholders such as Marketing and Commercial Operations to deliver overall objectives.
  • •    Contribute to business success and strategic priorities beyond own responsiblity by special projects, assignments, events or similar activities.
  • •    Attend and support planning of local, regional and national meetings as directed.
  • •    Work within the Regeneron regulatory and legal compliance guidelines.
  • •    To successfully complete all training programs provided by Regeneron.

Job Requirements

  • •    Demonstrate advanced scientific communication skills especially in Oncology area
  • •    Possess superior customer engagement skills, with patient-oriented mindset and with a focus on delivering value.
  • •    Experience to build relationships and communicate with key opinion leaders 
  • •    Possess excellent technical aptitude and the ability to conduct disease/concept selling.
  • •    Demonstrate superb written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • •    Ability to present ideas effectively to individuals or groups, targeting presentation to the needs of the audience.
  • •    Ability to work independently to execute against strategic and tactical plans under tight timelines.
  • •    Be computer literate including the ability to use word processing, spreadsheets, databases and e-mail software.
  • •    Fluency in Japanese is required, fluency in English is a plus
  • •    Expertise and knowledge of Oncology (especially in Lung Cancer and/or PD-1/PD-L1 products)

Minimum Years of Experience

  • •    Bachelor’s Degree or similar educational background
  • •    Driver License
  • •    MR Certification
  • •    Minimum ten 10 years sales representative experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • •    Previous experience in Oncology required (minimum 5 years)
  • •    Lung Cancer and PD-1/PD-L1 products experience is a plus
