Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, and end-users across commodities trading, hedge fund operations, quantitative finance, and logistics to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for AI-driven solutions.
• Assess current workflows, data sources, and ERP systems to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for AI adoption and process automation.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional/technical specifications, user stories, data models, and process flows for development teams.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on business processes, data requirements, and systems related to commodities, finance (futures, options, quantitative strategies), and trade lifecycles.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and stakeholder sessions to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to define data requirements, validate model outputs, and ensure AI solutions are practical and business-ready.
• Support the end-to-end project lifecycle, including design, development, UAT coordination, testing, and implementation of AI and software solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend technology enhancements, ERP optimizations, and AI tool integrations.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Stay updated on emerging AI trends, technologies, and best practices in commodities, finance, and enterprise solutions.
• Communicate progress, risks, and challenges clearly to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5–10 years of experience leading technology-driven projects with significant business impact.
• MBA from a Tier 1 institution.
• Strong expertise with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or industry-specific systems) in complex environments.
• Solid knowledge of software development lifecycles, technology architecture, and system integration.
• Proven ability to solve complex business problems and deliver innovative, scalable solutions.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
• Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and requirements management.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai.
