Director of Engineering - The Langham, Custom House, Bangkok (Based in Bangkok)

Principal Responsibilities:

• Guest Related
• Colleagues Related
• DOE would base on the guest comment cards to follow the repairing works
• DOE would also receive call from Housekeeping or Front Office
• AM Log would also be a useful information to follow the complaint
• Implementation of staff motivation plan approved by Hotel Manager.
• Explore the expectation of colleagues from direct supervisor, ACE, DOE, etc.
• Recruit colleagues including technical assessment, potential identification.
• Evaluation performance of colleagues and make recommendations for promotion whenever appropriate.
• Give clear task for the substandard colleague with deadline of improvement

Requirements:

• Certification in Engineering or Project Management is preferred.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the Director of Engineering and Projects or hospitality industry.
• Previous pre-opening experience as a Director of Engineering is preferred. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build and maintain guest relationships.
• Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Fluency in Thai and English are required.
