About Us
We are an early-stage startup based in Sweden, developing sustainable packaging materials made from seaweed. Our mission is to eliminate plastic and microplastic pollution by creating safe, renewable, and truly circular alternatives for food and non-food packaging.

Your Role
As our Tech Co-Founder, you will be responsible for the technical development of our products and processes. You’ll be working hands-on with material R&D, product testing, and scaling production methods — while shaping the technical strategy of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of seaweed-based packaging materials.
• Design, test, and iterate prototypes in collaboration with research partners.
• Explore processing methods such as extrusion, molding, or coating applications.
• Build and manage relationships with suppliers, research institutes, and pilot facilities.
• Translate lab innovations into scalable and cost-efficient production.
• Contribute to fundraising efforts by presenting the technical roadmap to investors.

What We’re Looking For

• Background in materials science, chemical engineering, polymer science, or packaging technology.
• Experience in biopolymers, composites, or sustainable materials is highly valued.
• Hands-on mindset: comfortable experimenting, prototyping, and problem-solving.
• Entrepreneurial drive and ability to work in a startup environment.
• Passion for sustainability and the mission to create a world without plastic pollution.
• An attitude that believes that everything is figurout-able.
