Consultant/ Specialist Stroke Medicine

Position Overview

SearchPlus HR is on the lookout for a dedicated Consultant/Specialist in Stroke Medicine to enhance our healthcare team. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional care to patients who have experienced stroke and other cerebrovascular conditions. As a Consultant/Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a diverse range of cases while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients presenting with stroke-related symptoms
• Perform detailed clinical assessments and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop and manage tailored treatment plans for patients
• Prescribe medications and oversee rehabilitation processes
• Educate patients and families on stroke prevention and post-stroke care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including neurologists and physiotherapists
• Participate in clinical research and academic activities related to stroke medicine
• Contribute to the training of healthcare staff and promote stroke education initiatives

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification or specialization in Stroke Medicine
• Significant clinical experience in stroke diagnosis and management
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in clinical practice
• Research experience and publication in stroke-related topics is a plus
