Internship – HR & Recruitment
Are you curious about how recruitment works in practice and eager to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources? Join our People Attraction team as an intern and contribute to recruiting the next generation of interns and student workers. This is a unique opportunity to engage in the full recruitment process – from job postings to final interviews.
Expected start: Spring 2026
Your role as a Recruitment Intern
As our new intern, you will be entrusted with responsibility from the outset and gain insight into every stage of the recruitment process. You will manage the full recruitment cycle for 15–30 new interns and student workers joining Systematic.
Your Daily Tasks Will Include:
- Engaging in stakeholder management through close collaboration with Project Managers across business units
- Creating, proofreading, and publishing job postings in cooperation with hiring managers
- Screening and selecting candidates based on their skills, experience, and alignment with team and company values
- Conducting and facilitating interviews alongside hiring managers
- Preparing employment contracts
- Supporting employer branding activities, including participation in job fairs and organising social events
- Assisting the recruitment team with ad hoc tasks
Joining the People Attraction team
You will become part of a dedicated recruitment team comprising 14 colleagues based in Aarhus, Copenhagen, Cologne, and Bucharest. Together, we attract and hire approximately 250 new colleagues annually. While we approach recruitment with professionalism, we also value team spirit and a positive atmosphere. You will be welcomed as a valued team member, and your contributions will be appreciated from day one.
Life as an intern
At Systematic, interns are considered an integral part of the team. You will be assigned a dedicated tutor or mentor who will guide you through your tasks and provide ongoing support to foster your professional development. You will collaborate closely with colleagues who are eager to share their expertise, while being trusted with responsibility early in your internship. This balance allows you the freedom to learn, explore new approaches, and build confidence in your abilities.
We are committed to delivering high-quality solutions, while also prioritising a positive work environment – whether through shared laughter, a strong cup of coffee, or meaningful connections with colleagues. In addition to your team, you will join our intern network, where you can build relationships, share experiences, and participate in social events with other interns across the organisation.
Who we are looking for
We envisage that you are currently pursuing a relevant degree, such as Business Language and International Business Communication, a Bachelor in Administration, or a similar field – and that you are curious about recruitment and Human Resources.
You are likely to thrive in this role if you:
- Can work independently and structure your day in accordance with our philosophy of freedom with responsibility
- Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Speak and write Danish fluently and are comfortable communicating in English
- Are personable and approachable, able to build positive connections with candidates, managers, and colleagues
- Have a proactive mindset, taking initiative in tasks such as sourcing, posting, and follow-ups
The internship is a full-time position lasting five months, commencing on 2 February 2026. The position is unpaid; however, if permitted by your academic programme, you will receive a monthly token of appreciation during your internship.
Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have resided in a NATO and/or EU country for the past seven years, as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here.
