Employment type – Temporary (up to 12 months)

Salary – $129,464 - $142,666 pa plus superannuation and leave loading

Your Role

We’re seeking a Senior Reporting and Insights Analyst to deliver impactful data analytics and visualisations that drive better outcomes across Corrective Services NSW. You’ll design and maintain dashboards to track key activities and initiatives, while supporting the CRES Tableau Server environment.

Key Responsibilites:

  • Deliver data transformation, analysis, and visualisation using tools like Tableau to support performance measurement and service improvement
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports across CSNSW, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, and transparent
  • Validate data quality, document methodologies, and support the maintenance of the CRES Tableau Server for optimal performance
  • Provide expert advice on data definitions, analytics, and reporting to strengthen business cases and knowledge management
  • Prepare clear written communications, briefs, and technical documents, and build strong stakeholder relationships to support informed decision-making.

Essential Requirements

Tertiary qualifications in Statistics, Mathematics, Social Science, Actuary, Data Analytics, Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Appointments are subject to reference checks. Some roles may also require the following checks/ clearances:

  • National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
  • Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
