Job vacancy: Finance Executive
As a Finance Executive, you will support the Finance Lead in executing financial operations and reporting activities in full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency across all deliverables.
In this role you will :
• Deliver value-added financial services to SBUs and external stakeholders, aligned with corporate strategy and financial objectives.
• Maintain cross-functional alignment within Finance SBU to ensure strategic coherence and operational synergy.
• Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships to facilitate issue resolution and enhance financial collaboration.
• Implement process improvements to elevate internal and external customer satisfaction using financial service innovation.
• Respond to financial queries and complaints with professionalism to uphold service quality and stakeholder trust.
• Develop and monitor SLA’s to ensure consistent delivery of financial outputs within agreed timelines and standards.
• Ensure compliance with KPIs and quality benchmarks for financial deliverables.
• Lead the Group Consolidation process by ensuring a good quality set of financial statements from group entities, eliminating intercompany transactions, applying appropriate consolidation methods and ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with IFRS
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) for specific entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other applicable standards.
• Compile and submit regulatory returns in accordance with guidelines from financial authorities and regulators.
• Escalate material misstatements or data integrity issues in financial reports to the Manager/Lead for timely resolution.
• Oversee GL activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify and maintain fixed asset registers, ensuring proper capitalization and depreciation in line with accounting policies.
• Prepare entity-level budgets and forecasts, contributing to the group-wide financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process.
• Support strategic planning by providing financial insights and aligning forecasts with SBU goals.
• Verify invoices and monitor receivables to ensure timely collections and minimize credit risk.
• Prepare and analyze cash flow statements to support liquidity management and investment decision-making.
• Perform ERP system testing and escalate system-related issues affecting financial reporting.
• Design contingency plans for financial reporting continuity in case of system failures or data unavailability.
• Leverage financial technologies to streamline reporting processes and enhance operational efficiency.

We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of:
• A completed Degree in Finance or Professional qualification such as ACA or ACCA or equivalent;
• 3-5 years of working experience in Finance/Accounting with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role within a banking institution, conglomerate, holding company, or large corporate group.
• Sound knowledge of group consolidation, financial control frameworks, and financial analysis, along with proficiency in Microsoft tools (especially advanced Excel), Oracle ERP, IFRS, and relevant legislation such as the Banking Act, VAT Act, Corporate Tax Act, and the Financial Reporting Act as a must.
• BI Tools, as an advantage

• A completed Diploma in Finance or equivalent;
• At least 10 years of working experience in Finance/Accounting with a minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role within a banking institution, conglomerate, holding company, or large corporate group.
• Sound knowledge of group consolidation, financial control frameworks, and financial analysis, along with proficiency in Microsoft tools (especially advanced Excel), Oracle ERP, IFRS, and relevant legislation such as the Banking Act, VAT Act, Corporate Tax Act, and the Financial Reporting Act as a must.
• BI Tools, as an advantage
