We're looking for a motivated Sales/Credit Controller to support the Auckland Regional business based at our corporate office in Penrose. This is 12 month fixed term opportunity to support the team during the implementation of a new system.

You are responsible for the timely and accurate processing of accounts receivable, including the management of customer accounts, sales invoicing, and credit control. The position also liaises closely with the sales team/management to ensure customer satisfaction and supports credit risk management through assessment and collection activities.

In addition to the above you will:  

• Best practice accounts receivable, sales and credit control followed, including tax requirements
• Accurate data entry of sales internal and external invoices, including appropriate GL coding for tax purposes followed
• Responding to customer and internal queries
• Take a proactive role in managing and collecting debts, ensuring timely payment of debt including bonds and retentions
• Ensure monthly reporting is completed and reviewed in a timely manner
• Providing training/guidance to administration/operational staff on all matters relating to accounts receivable, credit control and sales

We’Re Looking For Someone With:

• Exceptional Problem-Solving Abilities

• Relevant experience in Sales/Credit Control Function with (>3 years)
• Competent on computers/Microsoft Suites
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Creating, Connecting and caring for the community
