App Developer - Kids Educational App

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

• 4 hours per day, 5 days per week
  
• 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM or 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM Philippines time

We’re seeking a talented App Developer to join an exciting kids educational app project that’s transforming how children learn through engaging, gamified experiences. You’ll be working with cutting-edge Flutter technology to build a cross-platform application that combines education with fun, interactive elements. • Develop and maintain a cross-platform kids educational app using Flutter framework for seamless Android and iOS compatibility
  
• Create engaging gamified content including simple animations, reward systems, and interactive mascot features that delight young learners
  
• Implement robust API integrations to enhance app functionality and user experience
  
• Collaborate on UX/UI design decisions, ensuring pixel-perfect alignment and adherence to modern design standards
  
• Work closely with the project owner to maintain exceptional quality standards and achieve project milestones
  
• Contribute to the technical roadmap and potentially integrate AI features as the project scales
  
• Ensure optimal app performance across both mobile platforms while maintaining code quality and best practices
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven experience in mobile app development with a strong portfolio
  
• Expert proficiency in Flutter framework for cross-platform development
  
• Solid understanding of UX/UI design principles with keen attention to visual details and user experience
  
• Experience developing gamified content, animations, and interactive user engagement features
  
• Strong knowledge of API integration and mobile app architecture patterns
  
• Interest or experience in AI integration for future development phases
  
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality standards and meeting deadlines
  
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in a remote environment
  
• Bonus: Mandarin language skills (speaking/understanding) - highly valued but not required
  
• Passion for educational technology and creating positive learning experiences for children
