General Purpose:

  • •  Responsible for Annual and Quarterly target achievement
  • • Grow retail revenue for all product lines with a focus on Gaming peripherals, Furniture, Elgato, SCUF and FANATEC 
  • • Manage and maintain relationship with distributors, ensure company's instruction is always well delivered  
  • • Manage Sell-in, Sell-through, Sellout numbers between brand, distributors and channel customers
  • • Manage inventory levels in distributors and channel customers
  • • Manage margin structure in each party, also be cost-conscious
  • • Build up direct relationships with main retail buyers in Japan 
  • • Improve Corsair’s understanding of the Japan retail market regarding competitor activities, market share, opportunity identification & best practices 
  • • Work with channel customers to build up the CORSAIR retail presence including Corsair brand shelf, display material, experience zone and Flagship store
  • • Lead Sales activity as promotion, bundle deal, incentive and spiff
  • • Have financial discipline to control budget of back-end rebate, MDF and honor the claim process

Position Summary, Responsibilities And Expectations:

  • • Responsible for Annual and Quarterly target achievement
  • • Manage Sell-in, Sell-through, Sellout numbers between brand, distributors and channel customers
  • • Distributor/ Channel Inventory control: Daily monitoring inventory level for hot selling products and aging stock,then take proper action to manage both distributors and channels
  • • Increase reach: Define focus channel customers and extend brand shelfs in stores for CORSAIR/Elgato/SCUF/ FANATEC 
  • • Retail displays, leverage distributor's resource as rounder and marketing to optimize: 
  •    - Improve CORSAIR/Elgato brand awareness and displays across all channel customers 
  •    - Localize Japanese display and materials to strengthen demand generation & retail presence 
  •    - Optimize Corsair/Elgato live dem, static product displays and experience zone in the main retail stores
  •    - Build up CORSAIR flagship store in key channel customers
  •    - Demo units management  
  • • Drive sell through: Leverage Sales tool (Back-end rebate, Incentive, Spiff) develop sales strategies, work with channel buyers and distributors to execute sell through projects/programs 
  • • Channels focus: Work with key channel customers, come out with demand generation,product selection plan in promotions and national festivals
  • • Established relationships with, or prior experience working with, leading retail store 
  • • Regular on-site visit with focus channel customers to build up direct relationship both HQ buyers and focus store managers
  • • Expected to visit both top retail chain headquarters and key store locations on a regular basis.
  • • Market info: Survey the competitor information in the channel including marketing activities, price comparison, promotions, market share, channel structure and supply details 
  • • Product training: Setup regular seminar to educate channel customers about bullet point, pricing range and benchmark of new products  
  • • Distributor/ Channel margin structure management 
  • • Retail price: Ensure key channel customers can honor the pricing strategy, daily monitoring market price, competitiveness,and promo activity 
  • • Regular reporting and communication with APAC office via Conference calls
  • Essential Skills and Experience:
  • • At least 5 years working experience in the Japanese retail industry
  • • Possess good communication and negotiation skills 
  • • Customer focused and open to change 
  • • Self-driven, discipline and motivated 
  • • A good team player
  • • Strategic thinking and drive operational performance to develop self & others
  • • Business professional Japanese & communication level of English or Chinese 
  • • Able to travel domestically and frequent on-site visit
