Asst Mines Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

Overseeing day-to-day mining operations, including drilling, blasting, and extraction activities  

Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations  

Developing and implementing operational plans to optimize mining activities  

Leading and supervising a team of mining personnel to achieve production targets  

Conducting regular risk assessments and implementing control measures  

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline mining processes  

Managing budget and resources effectively to drive operational efficiency  

Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings  

Preparing reports on production, safety, and environmental performance  

Participating in regulatory inspections and audits. 

Qualification : 

BE / Diploma in mining engineering or related field, master’s degree in mining management.

Experience:

4 to 8 years' experience in mining.

Certification required: 

First Class/second class mines manager certificate
