The Impact:

You will conduct thorough data quality assessments, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to ensure our data meets the highest quality benchmarks. This position offers a unique opportunity to deepen your expertise in data quality within a client-focused environment. You will collaborate closely with the Client Support team, Data Management/Operations, and Product Management to ensure data accuracy and integrity, directly impacting client satisfaction. You'll also work with leadership and colleagues to drive meaningful improvements in data quality processes. This role provides exposure to data analysis techniques specific to data quality and offers opportunities to explore automation and emerging technologies for data validation and improvement.

Job Summary: The Data Quality Analyst at Grade 7 will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data across various platforms. This role involves analyzing data quality issues, implementing quality control measures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive data quality assessments and audits to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement data quality frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to define data quality requirements and metrics.
- Utilize data profiling tools and techniques to monitor data quality and report findings.
- Design and execute data cleansing and validation processes to enhance data accuracy.
- Proactively monitor processes to identify deviations, ensuring timely escalation and reporting to management and stakeholders.
- Analyse defects from regular operations and correlate them with various datasets in Data Quality to derive actionable insights.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data quality management.
We are looking for
- A strong interest in data quality and a foundational understanding of data concepts.
- Familiarity with basic database concepts and a willingness to learn SQL and data analysis techniques.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn to interpret data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused attitude and a desire to collaborate effectively. Familiarity with data visualization tools (like Tableau or Power BI) or spreadsheet software (like Excel) is a plus.
- A strong willingness to learn, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to learning and maintaining high standards of data quality.
- A curious and innovative mindset, with a desire to explore emerging technologies, including generative AI and other advanced tools, to enhance data quality processes.
Qualifications:
- A full-time MBA or postgraduate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- 2 years of experience in data quality management or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data profiling and data quality tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and practices is a plus.
- General Fundamentals Supple knowledge is an added advantage
Preferred Skills:
- Basic Knowledge of SQL and database management.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Certifications in data quality or data management are desirable.
Working Conditions:
- Preferred to work in any shift timings as per the need of the General Fundamentals Dataset, for which quality is evaluated
