Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Material Handler II to join our 2nd shift team in Norman, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and inventory within our warehouse operations.

• Handling equipment to move, store, and retrieve materials safely and efficiently
• Accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation and inventory tracking
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
• Perform regular inventory counts and reconciliations to ensure accuracy of stock levels
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse layout and improve operational efficiency
• Use inventory management systems to track and update material locations and quantities
• Assist in training new team members on proper material handling techniques and safety procedures
• Identify and report any discrepancies or issues in inventory or equipment to supervisors
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in material handling or warehouse operations
• Proficiency in operating various types of material handling equipment
• Experience with inventory management systems and basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations
• Willingness to work 2nd shift hours and occasional overtime as needed
