We are a provider of specialized fund administration services for Managers and General Partners of private equity funds, specifically: Buy‐out, Venture Capital, Real Estate and Fund‐of‐ Funds. For new General Partners, we provide consulting services to help accelerate the launch of their funds in addition to our full fund administration services. For established General Partners, we provide administration services and technology to whole fund families or select funds, to help scale their fund operations rapidly and efficiently.
Standish Real Estate Services offers accounting services to real estate developers, investors, owners and operators. We are a firm with experienced real estate professionals handling accounting and financial services for the real estate fund level entities down through the ownership and partnership entities to the underlying operating property level entities. From the construction and development phase to the ownership and operations of the property, we offer timely and accurate reporting solutions and we specialize in all types of real estate including land, industrial, office, retail, hotel, multi-family, manufactured homes and affordable housing.
Responsibilities
- Accounting and reporting for Development and Operating projects
- Prepare monthly journal entries for assigned projects (accruals, COS, sales, etc)
- Monthly review of general ledger for accuracy and completeness in accordance with Income tax basis and or GAAP.
- Communicate and coordinate with Client personnel on all matters relating to the projects.
- Monthly explanation of variances to budget within predefined thresholds.
- Prepare financial statements and reporting packages as required for lenders and clients
- Set up and track fixed assets. Record depreciation and amortization for all operating projects.
- Preparation of annual Income tax basis and or GAAP operating budgets, development budgets and update forecasting.
- Prepare Project Cost Summaries showing status of construction on development properties.
- Record general and limited partners’ equity pick-ups, contributions and distributions related to investments in joint ventures as well as minority interest partners interest in projects.
- Accounting for property acquisitions and dispositions including waterfalls, as well as review and summarization of related documents and preparation of journal entries, in accordance with Income tax basis and or GAAP.
- Compliance with lender reporting requirements.
- Prepare monthly capital calls or distributions to each of the joint venture partners, as required.
- Preparation of monthly draw package for submission to lenders and record funding.
- Prepare annual audits.
- Assist in reviewing staffs’ work
Other:
- Ad hoc requests and special projects for Clients’ Business leaders.

Experience Requirement:
- 5+ years of experience
- Real Estate development and partnership accounting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail oriented, organized, analytical, supervisory skills, possess knowledge of accounting and projection software, MS Excel
- Understand a small company background.
