We are seeking a passionate and strategic People & Culture Manager to lead the development and execution of people strategies that foster a positive workplace culture, drive employee engagement, and support organizational growth. This role will focus on employee experience, talent development, performance management, DEI (diversity, equity & inclusion), and cultural alignment across all levels of the company.

About The Role

People and Culture Manager will work closely alongside the Director of People and Culture and oversees the day to day running of the People and Culture function.

What you will do

1. Culture & Engagement

  • Champion the company’s values, mission, and vision.
  • Design and lead initiatives to strengthen employee engagement and a high-performance culture.
  • Develop and manage employee recognition and feedback programs.
  • Conduct regular culture and engagement surveys; analyze and act on results.
  • Oversee full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, development, and offboarding.
  • Collaborate with leaders to identify talent gaps and succession plans.
  • Implement and refine performance management processes.
  • Support career pathing and growth opportunities.

3. Learning & Development

  • Assess training needs and implement learning programs.
  • Promote leadership development and coaching across teams.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous learning and feedback.

4. Employee Relations & Communication

  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers.
  • Manage conflict resolution, grievances, and disciplinary actions when needed.
  • Promote transparent, inclusive, and timely communication across the organization.

5. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure policies and practices align with local labor laws and company goals.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
  • Collaborate on compensation, benefits, and wellness program design.
  • Deep understanding of modern HR practices, employment law, and culture-building strategies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Strong change management and project management abilities.
  • Language requirement: Professional Business in English and Fluent-Native in Japanese Language
