Are you obsessed with crafting scalable, elegant, and accessible design systems? Do you thrive in Figma and love bridging the gap between design and development? Saxo Bank is seeking a UI Designer to join our DesignOps team and take a central role in evolving our design system into a world-class foundation for product excellence.

This is your opportunity to work at the heart of a global fintech leader, where design meets technology to empower millions of users - from traders and investors to wholesale clients.

What you’ll do

As a key member of our Design Systems team, you’ll:

  • Communicate new or updated components clearly to Product Designers and UI Developers, ensuring alignment and adoption

  • Work with design foundations including tokens, themes, and variables to keep the system consistent and flexible

  • Define, document, and govern design patterns in close collaboration with Product Designers, reviewing product designs to ensure consistency and adherence

  • Champion accessibility, making sure every component meets WCAG standards

About you

  • Expert-level Figma skills, including components, variants, variables, and prototyping

  • Experienced and opinionated about animations and micro-interactions

  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards and how to apply them in UI design

  • Familiar with mobile app patterns in terms of components and interactions

  • Experience working with design systems, ideally in complex domains like fintech or SaaS

  • Ability to bridge design and development, collaborating with engineers using tools like Storybook and React

  • Excellent communication skills, able to present ideas and guide others with clarity and confidence

  • A structured and organised mindset, with a passion for documentation and process

Why join us?

  • Build a foundational design system that powers products used by more than a million users globally
