We are currently seeking a Medical Research Specialist to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Medical Research Specialist at ICON, you will be responsible for designing, conducting, and analyzing clinical research studies to support the development of innovative medical therapies. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that research initiatives are executed with the highest standards of quality and compliance.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Designing and implementing clinical research protocols, including selection of study sites and recruitment strategies.
- Conducting thorough literature reviews and analysis to inform study design and methodology.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of research objectives with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring study progress, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and relevant regulatory standards.
- Analyzing data and preparing reports on research findings to communicate insights to stakeholders and contribute to scientific publications.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, medicine, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in clinical research or a related field, with a strong understanding of research methodologies and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail in data analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- A passion for advancing medical knowledge and improving patient outcomes through innovative research.
