Assistant General Manager & Team Head, Financial Institutions and Public Sector

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement strategic plans in FI (Banks), NBFI and Public Sector accounts and business development.
• Solicit new business opportunities and actively participate in the cross-selling of FI loan / deposit and treasury / investment products.
• Maintain excellent account relationship with FI (Banks), NBFI and Public Sector customers.
• Lead and supervise a team of Relationship Managers to achieve targeted results.
• Review comprehensive credit analysis / proposals prepared by the team and provide guidance for further credit approval.
• Maintain a high standard of operational control by adhering to prevailing risk and compliance requirements, bank policies and procedures, and applicable local and regional regulations, following through initiatives with attention to details to achieve set targets and standards.
• Implement and comply with anti-money laundering policies and relevant procedures.
• Provide management oversight and develop / maintain a strong compliance culture regarding regulatory and compliance matters as well as anti-money laundering / counter terrorist financing control activities.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Business Administration or related disciplines.
• Minimum 8 years’ corporate banking and/or FI experience gained from international banking environment with at least 4 years’ experience at managerial level. • Formal credit analysis training will be an advantage.
• Self-starter, good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Good at product marketing and development skills with strong business sense.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
• Possess the required qualifications and license under SFC for dealing in securities will be an advantage.
• Possess the qualification of Certified Credit Risk Management Professional (Commercial Lending) (CCRP(CL)) and Certified Credit Risk Management Professional (Credit Portfolio Management) (CCRP(CPM)) preferred
