Lifeguard - Waterpark

Kalahari Resorts and Conventions delivers a beyond-expectations waterpark resort and conference experience all under one roof. The authentically African-themed resort is home to America’s largest indoor waterparks and features well-appointed guest rooms, full-service Spa Kalahari, a fun-filled family entertainment center, on-site signature restaurants, unique retail shops, and a state-of-the-art convention center.

We are inviting you to apply for the role of Lifeguard. You’ll be standing guard and saving lives as you enforce waterpark rules to maintain a safe and fun environment. In this position, you’ll be responsible for:

• Assisting with opening and closing procedures of water park rides and park cleanliness.
• Communicating with guests about attraction requirements and safety concerns.
• Conducting water rescues and administering first aid or CPR as necessary.
• Staying alert and regularly inspecting pools and slides for any hazards or safety risks.

Safety is the utmost concern to a Lifeguard, but as we strive to create unforgettable memories for our guests, we want our associates to embrace the culture as well!  As a part of our Aquatics team, you enjoy resort discounts, access to the waterpark, learn valuable life-saving skills, gain leadership experience, and work together as a team to keep all 173,000 sqft of Indoor Waterpark safe!  

We do require that you be at least 15 years of age to apply, and strong swimming skills. Not a certified Lifeguard? Not a problem! Candidates complete a 3-day certification course (Saturday – Monday) held at Kalahari Resorts facility.

• Starting Rate: Up to $15.00 an hour*
