Are you a German speaking Finance & Accounting professional with the accuracy of our strain gauges and the reliability of our precision resistors? We are looking for you to join our Finance team in Heilbronn!

What You'll Do:

Financial Operations Excellence

• Accounts Receivable Management: Maintain customer master data, monitor credit limits, manage collection processes, and ensure accurate account reconciliations
•  Accounts Payable Operations: Process incoming invoices efficiently, create electronic payment runs, and maintain vendor account reconciliation
•  Payment Processing: Handle all incoming and outgoing payments across multiple channels (bank transfers, cash, credit card transactions)

Strategic Financial Support

• Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial statements under German HGB standards and contribute to month-end/ year end closing processes
• Assure local German Compliance
• Corporate Reporting: Input financial results into corporate databases and support group reporting requirements

Specialized Operations

• Customs & Trade: Review customs notifications and manage post-clearance documentation processes
•  Expense Management: Verify and process employee travel expenses with attention to policy compliance
•  SOX Compliance: Prepare documentation and provide support for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements

Communication & Collaboration

•  Stakeholder Relations: Maintain professional correspondence with internal customers and tax consultants in both German and English, in a matrix setup
• Cross-functional Support: Collaborate with various departments and regions (US, Asia, EU) to ensure smooth financial operations

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills

• Strong background and studies in Accounting and finance operations
• At least 7-10 years working in a similar role
• Proficiency in German and English (written and verbal)
• Experience with accounts receivable/payable processes
• Knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB, IFRS)
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling
• Advanced Excel and financial software skills ( eg. SAGE, QAD)

Great to have:

• Previous work in a multicultural, industrial environment
