Unit Head Swift Operations

Operational controls & Policies

• Review upcoming updates / patches of SWIFT Alliance and arrange to perform all operational activities in timely manners.
• Supervision of Help Desk operation of Outgoing MT 103. 
• Provide operational support to Domestic as well as Overseas branches regarding their various to day to day issues pertaining to SWIFT Operations. 
• Provide assistance in updating departmental Standards Operating Procedures and other documental in line with compliance guidelines. Also perform periodical review of these documents on regular basis.

Service Quality

• Coordinate with and maintain healthy relationship with all internal as well as external stakeholders to ensure seamless and expedited services.
• Provide support to all business units so that they are facilitated in achieving their business targets and organizational goals.

Monitoring

• Monitoring of SWIFT Alliance application and timely take appropriate actions to avoid delay in processing and to avoid damages/Penalties. 
• To monitor and ensure that proper controls are exercised.

Project Management

• To co-ordinate and ensure smooth implementation of SWIFT software updates across the bank in coordination with ITG.
• Liaison with internal as well as external stakeholders regarding implementation of new projects/integrations to ensure that projects / tasks in the area are completed appropriately

Business Continuity Planning

• In order to maintain SWIFT BCP site conduct periodically connectivity testing and coordinate with BCP team for resolution of short comings.

Process Review & Re-engineering

• To formulate Procedure Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures & other documentation in line with compliance guidelines. Also to review them on regular basis.
• Perform periodical review of the system, Message Partners, Exit Points and Queues for further improvement of controls in hbl SWIFT infrastructure.
• To evolve ideas/suggestions in improving internal functions and taking new initiatives for achieving efficiency & accuracy in all related areas and processes.

Team Management

• Motivate staff and conduct team building exercises.
• Provide related training and guidance to staff enabling them to make prudent decisions, get work done efficiently to their fullest potential.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Masters

Minimum Experience:

10 years of experience in SWIFT.
