Assistant Manager (AI Hub GTS)

Roles & Responsibilities

•This role requires detailed knowledge of software testing concepts and hands-on experience in software automation tools. •Role uses initiative and independent judgement to perform work. This role applies theoretical/hands-on knowledge typically obtained through advanced education and/or work experience.

Project Delivery

•Design Test strategy and Test Plan •Manage testing activities and defect triage discussions •Develop test case and automation test scripts •Collaborate with Dev team to setup test environment and data •Prepare and review test scenarios, test cases and scripts •Develop and execute both manual and automated testing •Provide guidance and support to team members in building/maintaining automation frameworks. •Log defects uncovered during testing •Provide daily QA status reports •Interact & collaborate with multiple stakeholders for review of workpapers

Quality

•Adhere to applicable framework, follow all the best practices preparer and checker process effectively to attain targeted quality •Ensure that the engagements are delivered within budget and time •Ensure that documents are prepared with no quality issue

People

•Demonstrate accountability and willingness to stretch beyond regular hours when needed •Inculcate and exhibit KPMG values in everyday conduct •Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior all the times

Mandatory  technical & functional skills

•Expertise in software quality assurance/engineering and automation. •Good knowledge and experience of SDLC & STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies. •Experience in Test Case management and Defect management (e.g., JIRA, ADO). •QA estimation, quality risk analysis, defect triage and defect review. •Experience in any one automation tool e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Webdriver I/O, JavaScript, Typescript, Python, JMeter, Postman, BDD(Cucumber) etc. •Cloud QA experience - Azure, AWS or GCP •Version Control – GitHub/ BitBucket •Experience in building automation frameworks using POM, Page factory, Singleton, Data-driven/Keyword driven/hybrid design. •Experience in testing AI-based solutions (GenAI output validation, monitoring, logging) •Certification – ISTQB

Preferred technical & functional skills

—Relevant AI certifications in GCP, Azure or AWS —Fine Tuning of LLMs or SLMs (PALM2, GPT4, LLAMA etc ) – Core understanding of concepts like PEFT. —Cloud computing experience, particularly with Google/Azure Cloud Platform, is essential. With strong foundation in understating Data Analytics Services offered by Google or Azure ( BigQuery/Synapse)

Educational Qualifications

•B.Tech/M.Tech. with good understanding and experience of software testing fundamentals as well as automation testing.

Work Experience

•5-7 years of work experience in relevant discipline. •Prior experience in finance/AI domain is preferable.
