Position Overview: Support Production through industrialization; by creating floor layouts and work instructions for new product rollouts and for changes to project design. 

Responsibilities:         

• Support production with 1st builds by providing feedback to sales team on required changes
• Communicate with customers regarding design and drawing issues
• Create cut files for Gamma and Kappa machines
• Design fixtures such as jigs and harness boards for 1st builds and changed builds
• Create work cells based on 5S principles
• Design improvements to facilities such as work cells and floor layouts
• Maintain IPC compliance for crimp tool, terminal, wire, and setting combinations
• Update work instructions, BOM’s, and folders

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of previous relevant employment preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required
• Rolling Stock industry experience preferred
• Must be able to read blueprints and technical documentation
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel and Visio
• Knowledge of Visual Knowledge Share (VKS) preferred
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking
• Frequent use of a keyboard and mouse (wrist and finger movement)
• Ability to move 20 pounds
