In This Position…
You will be the strategic architect for our Radiator and Thermal Management commodity in North America. This is more than a buying role; you are the commercial leader responsible for shaping a multi-million dollar supply chain to be resilient, cost-effective, and technologically advanced. You will own the end-to-end strategy, from supplier selection to program execution, directly impacting the quality, cost, and performance of our final products. Your leadership will ensure we have the right partners and the right components to win in a competitive market.
What You'Ll Do…
- Own the Commodity Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive 3–5 year commodity strategy for radiators, aligning regional needs with global objectives and delivering annual cost reductions of 5-10%.
- Drive Program Sourcing: Serve as the procurement lead on all new vehicle programs, ensuring all radiator components are sourced on-time, within budget, and to our exacting quality standards, meeting every critical engineering and production milestone.
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Spearhead collaboration between Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance, driving consensus-based decisions and ensuring seamless integration of your sourcing strategies across the business.
- Master Supplier Relationships: Manage a portfolio of key suppliers, leading commercial negotiations, conducting quarterly business reviews, and driving continuous improvement in cost, quality, and delivery. You will be responsible for mitigating risks and building long-term, strategic partnerships.
- Develop the Supply Base: Proactively identify, vet, and develop new, world-class suppliers to enhance competition, secure innovative technologies, and ensure a robust and diversified supply chain for the future.
You'Ll Have...
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in strategic purchasing, commodity management, or technical procurement within a complex manufacturing environment (e.g., automotive, heavy machinery, aerospace).
- A proven track record of leading complex supplier negotiations and achieving significant, quantifiable cost reductions.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, with demonstrated experience in cost breakdown analysis and should-cost modeling.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present compelling business cases to senior management.
- Availability to work in a hybrid scheme

- An MBA or a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Direct purchasing experience with thermal management systems (radiators, heat exchangers, cooling modules) or other technically complex commodities.
- Experience with supplier quality frameworks (APQP, PPAP)
- 100% fluent in English both spoken and written
