Sr. Inside Sales Rep

Role Overview:

The Senior Inside Sales Representative is responsible for monitoring sales metrics and the sales administration process. This position will collaborate with various professionals both on an internal and external basis and requires supervising, training, mentoring, and coaching all employees within the Inside Sales department. These duties may vary to include some or all of the following job responsibilities.  

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Works closely with the Inside Sales Manager to complete daily tasks.
• Recommends and implements improvements in the sales administration process.
• Builds an open-communication environment for the sales team and the customers.
• Aids and advises inside sales team with difficult customers or warranties.
• Contributes to sales decisions to help meet customer demands.
• Assists with building accurate sales forecasts for material management.
• Assists with Outside Sales management.
• Monitors Inside Sales/CSR staff by coaching, planning, and appraising job results.
• Runs daily reports to record accuracy, order lead times, and any additional analysis needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Lead Generation for Outside Sales Team
• Customer Satisfaction Score
• Average Response Time

Requirements

Required Education/Experience And Skills:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required; some college is preferred
• Prior customer service or inside sales experience required.
• Prior management experience in an office setting preferred. 
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Software (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe.
• Knowledge working with Syspro or similar ERP software strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of tire and wheel industry desirable.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; excellent customer service and time management skills.
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong attention to details.
• Strong analytical and team management skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize efficiently.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently with minimum oversight.

Physical Requirements And Work Environment:

• Primarily office based work, not a remote position.
• Must be able to frequently use hands and talk or hear.   
• Must be able to occasionally stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. 
• The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
